Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Strategy
- Inspire, mentor, and lead your team to deliver optimal performance while fostering safety, teamwork, and accountability.
- Implement strategic maintenance plans to ensure equipment reliability and operational excellence.
Safety & Compliance
- Champion a safety-first culture, ensuring all activities meet federal, state, and local regulations.
- Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to mitigate potential hazards.
Asset Management
- Manage the maintenance of manufacturing equipment to ensure peak operational efficiency.
- Develop preventive and predictive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and costs.
Continuous Improvement
- Utilize process improvement methodologies to drive efficiency and year-over-year plant performance gains.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to identify and implement impactful solutions.
Budget & Resource Management
- Prepare and manage the maintenance budget, ensuring efficient resource use while controlling costs.
- Oversee inventory levels to ensure spare parts and supplies are readily available.
Culture & Workforce Engagement
- Cultivate a positive workplace culture, encouraging communication and collaboration across the team.
- Support training and development opportunities to build a skilled and motivated workforce.
What You’ll Need
- Experience & Education:
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering or facilities management or a related field is preferred.
- 5+ years of recent maintenance management experience in the food manufacturing industry.
- Expertise:
- Advanced knowledge of maintenance best practices, troubleshooting, and repair techniques.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements for food safety and manufacturing standards.
- Leadership Skills:
- Proven ability to lead teams and drive cultural and organizational change.
- Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.
